A. You can change your Password at Manage -> Manage Profile option. Enter your new password and save the changes.
A. There are several reasons for Sender ID and Template rejection. The most common reason is that the sender ID has already been registered by another company. Other reasons may include inappropriate documents, offensive or obscene sender ID names. The Template may get rejected if it has no contents, less static contents, Promotional in nature.
A. Visit http://smsc.biz/login/show_login and click on “Activate Account”. Enter your registered Mobile Number and Security code. Verify your mobile number and the Username and Password will be texted to you.
A. Sender ID is a 6-character name that displays on the recipient’s mobile phone when they receive an SMS text message. You can request for custom Sender ID under Manage option in your Panel.

A. Unicode simply means that you can send your message in any other non-English language like Hindi, Marathi etc. The maximum character length of single Unicode SMS is at most 70 characters which is much shorter than the normal SMS length of 160 characters.
A. Yes, the maximum length of text message that you can send is 918 characters. However, if you send more than 160 characters then your message will be broken down in to parts of 153 characters before being sent to the recipient’s mobile.

A. 160 CHARACTER = 1 MESSAGESingle message size constitutes maximum up to 160 characters in case of both GSM & CDMA including the header and footer  which is submitted to SMSC. In case the message is larger than the aforementioned characters, single message shall mean 153 characters for both GSM and CDMA

A. You can receive only Transactional SMS sent only by: Banks, Financial Institutions, Insurance Companies, Credit Card Companies, Railways or Airline companies, and registered Educational Institutions.
A. A single complaint can result in a fine of Rs. 25000. And the fine increases with each complaint, going up to Rs. 2.5 Lakh for the 6th complaint.
A. Format is 9 alpha numeric characters in the format YZ-AAAAAA,For example if your company name is ICICI and the message is sent through mobile operator, then the SENDER ID can be LM-ICICI. 6 character – All UPPERCASE with no special characters Notes:
  1. Sender ID should be 6 Characters – Uppercase
  2. Should be related to your product/service.
  3. As per TRAI sms format can contain only 20%-40% variables and static text in prefix and suffix
  4. Include some static text in your sms especially at end of the sms.
